Step 1 : Press CTRL+J to copy Background Layer to Layer 1. Tap on the Channels palette beside the Layers palette.

Step 2 : The Channels palette opens. There is the RGB channel, trailed by the Red, Green and Blue channels. Step 7 : Press CTRL+V (glue). The picture is stuck into the Mask in Black and White as should be obvious. Press CTRL+D to deselect. The walking insect choice will leave.

Step 8 : Alt Click the Layer Mask once more.

The picture is unmistakable again in shading.

Step 9 : Change the Blend Mode to Screen.  The highlights enhance significantly.

Step 11 : Go to the Channels palette and tap on the Blue channel. The picture turns highly contrasting. Press CTRL+A then CTRL+C.

Step 12 : Return to the Layers palette. ALT+CLICK the layer veil on Layer 1 duplicate.

Step 13 : Press CTRL+V to glue. At that point ALT+CLICK the Layer veil once more.

Step 14 : Change the Blend Mode to Soft Light.

The picture looks far better.

To see the prior and then afterward. ALT+CLICK on the eye symbol of the Background Layer.

Step 15 : Press SHIFT and tap on Layer1. Both Layers are highlighted. Press CTRL+G to assemble the two layers  .
